The new ColorCut LC600 ‘on demand’ digital sheet label cutter is designed to provide automatic sheet label cutting for digital print production users, with no dies or setup costs.

Targeted for busy print departments, seeking complete unattended cutting production, the LC600 combines reliable label-sheet feeding with an instant job retrieval system – this enables effortless, yet precise, kiss cut label cutting at lightning-fast speeds. The LC600 comes on a purpose-built stand, which presents the cutter at the perfect working height – as well as making the device fully mobile.

Mixed jobs? No problem – thanks to ColorCut Pro’s QR code job recognition!

The LC600 offers an unparalleled production advantage, in being able to read and instantly retrieve the associated cut file for every sheet design – on the fly! LC600 can take a varied stack of jobs and cut one after the other, in a seamless and uninterrupted flow. SmartMark registration ensures superb accuracy.

QR codes and SmartMarks are generated as part of the included ColorCut Pro software plugin. This integrates with vector artwork created in Adobe^® Illustrator^® and CorelDRAW^®.

ColorCut Pro software

ColorCut Pro

ColorCut Pro is a stand-alone application with a plugin, that can be installed on remote computers anywhere within the workflow environment, to perform contour cutting of paper card and synthetics. Intec supplies this with all ColorCut models to offer a complete turnkey solution.

For creatives the application enables artworkers to generate barcoded or QR coded cut files with associated job numbers, as an integral part of their design, for instant job recognition and file retrieval.

For print finishers the ColorCut Job Library enables users to retrieve previously prepared cut files into their workflow, without the need to launch Adobe^® illustrator^® or CorelDRAW^®. This is typically used in a production environment, remote from the design studio.
