ColorCut Pro Production Studio
ColorCut Pro is a stand-alone application with a plugin, that can be installed on remote computers anywhere within the workflow environment, to perform contour cutting of paper card and synthetics. Intec supplies this with all ColorCut models to offer a complete turnkey solution.
For creatives the application enables artworkers to generate barcoded or QR coded cut files with associated job numbers, as an integral part of their design, for instant job recognition and file retrieval.
For print finishers the ColorCut Job Library enables users to retrieve previously prepared cut files into their workflow, without the need to launch Adobe® Illustrator® or CorelDRAW®. This is typically used in a production environment, remote from the design studio.
Software Maintenance Agreement for ColorCut Pro
ColorCut Pro includes 12 months of software support from the date of purchase. During this period, customers receive updates, compatibility fixes, and assistance at no additional cost.
After the initial 12‑month support period, a Software Maintenance Agreement (SMA) may be required. This is only necessary if the customer chooses to upgrade their Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW as compatibility requirements can change. An SMA ensures:
- Ongoing compatibility with the latest Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW releases
- Access to updated plug‑ins, drivers, or integration tools needed for the new versions
- Continuous workflow stability without interruption or technical issues
If customers do not upgrade their design software after the initial 12 months, they do not need an SMA—ColorCut Pro will continue to function as normal with the versions originally supported.
Is the LC330 a dedicated/specialist label cutter?
Yes, it is. Intec developed this device specifically for the sheet label market. Our other ColorCut device can also be used to kiss-cut labels, but not as efficiently as the LC330. The cutting head features just one tool position for the adjustable cutting blade – and other design features have been developed specifically to cater for the handling of label media and the needs of label kiss-cutting.
What does fully automated actually mean?
Good question: It means that once the job set up has been made, the LC330 will run automatically – feeding and cutting – without an operator in attendance.
Can the cutter cut a mixed stack of jobs?
Yes and it is very simple to do this. Simply load the feeder with your mixed stack and the cutter will read the printed QR on the sheet and cut the associated cut file for that job. So if every sheet in the feeder has a different QR code, the cutter will read it and cut each sheet correctly.

This can be delivered face-to-face at your premises, or in our showroom. We can even supply remote support via zoom and TeamViewer. We also have a library of downloadable manuals and help guides to refer to and a series of useful videos.
