With the second largest cutting table in the ColorCut range, the FB790-T handles sheets up to B2+ (580mm x 800mm), with a maximum effective contour cutting area of up to 545 x 730mm, ideal for cutting larger B2 sheets from inkjet or printing press applications.
The FB790-T is dual tool tangential flatbed digital die cutter includes a passive contour/drag cut knife and active tangential creasing wheel, providing 66% more creasing power at 2.5kg (2,500gf), so a wider spectrum of materials can be finished, including B2 folders & larger sheets, opening up new possibilities through its ground breaking design. The cutter also has the advantage of switching out the Tangential creasing wheel for a Tangential Knife or Perforation Wheel tool to allow for thicker board cutting up to 3,000 micron (3mm) thick materials.
Users also benefit from the very latest in advanced high-speed servo motors for accurate, fast and productive cutting. The flatbed cutter also comes with the upgraded registration system, making it great for multiple sheet cutting; the Vision3 CCD camera will auto find the position of each sheet. Its powerful 750w fan delivers maximum sheet suction ensuring 2 x SRA3 sheets can be comfortably placed next to each other.

ColorCut Pro Production Studio 5
ColorCut Pro is a stand-alone application with a plugin, that can be installed on remote computers anywhere within the workflow environment, to perform contour cutting of paper card and synthetics. Intec supplies this with all ColorCut models to offer a complete turnkey solution.
For creatives the application plug in enables artworkers to generate QR coded cut files with associated job numbers, as an integral part of their design, for instant job recognition and file retrieval.
For print finishers the ColorCut Job Library enables users to retrieve previously prepared cut files into their workflow, without the need to launch Adobe® Illustrator® or CorelDRAW®. This is typically used in a production environment, remote from the design studio.

At its core is a B2+ medium- format flatbed cutting table equipped with a dual-tool head, housing both a passive contour/drag knife and an active tangential creasing wheel. This configuration allows two processes such as cutting and creasing to be completed in a single operation.
The combination of active and passive tools expands compatibility across media, enabling cutting, creasing, kiss-cutting and perforating with ease on a machine that remains impressively affordable for its specification.
There’s no steep learning curve. The included ColorCut Pro 5 software, supplied with the FB790-T, integrated directly with leading design applications such as Adobe® Illustrator® or CorelDRAW®. This fully featured software is extremely intuitive and requires no special skills to use. Design in the applications you are already familiar with, Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW, set the colour for cut, crease, perforation or kiss-cut path and ColorCut software will use those for processing.
Vacuum hold down – includes a powerful 750W vacuum system housed in an acoustic enclosure and included acoustic muffler, that keeps cut pieces firmly in place for fast and accurate processing, yet provides a quiet & comfortable operating environment, even in smaller studio environments.
Standalone production – the ‘NO WIRES’ file system enables you to load jobs from a USB drive, view and display jobs on the large touch screen, select them by name, or simply auto select the correct cut file and cut the job by pressing the SCAN button. One million job capacity.
Reverse Side – patented technology enables you to scan marks on the front of your sheet, flip the sheet over and cut and crease from the rear – offering more cutting and creasing options depending on media selection.
